Special Condition 57 − Students who will enroll in the Underwater Technology Program must also meet the legal conditions in the Proficiency Training Standards and Health Rules sections of the Professional Underwatermen Regulation published by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure. Those whose health conditions are not suitable can participate in application training. They cannot participate, they will not be given a professional underwaterman qualification certificate, and they will not be allowed to work in this profession. The registration of those who do not submit their health report by the first day of course registration at the beginning of each academic year will be deleted.

For Health Examination within the scope of special conditions;

A "First Class Industrial Diver" medical report must be obtained from the Department of Marine and Underwater Medicine and Hyperbaric Medicine of the university hospitals or from the Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Centers that have an Underwater Physician.

Students are responsible for completing their own personal diving equipment at the beginning of the academic year. Those who do not complete this obligation cannot participate in application training.
