Summer internship is a mandatory prerequisite for graduation. Summer internship duration is 20 (twenty) days II. Semester and 20 (twenty) days IV. It is a total of 40 (forty) working days per semester. Students find the business where they will do their summer internship or choose from the summer internship places announced by the Dean's Office/Department Head. II. Semester summer internship application, at diving centers within the Turkish Underwater Sports Federation (TSSF), IV. The semester summer internship application is carried out in private companies or public institutions and organizations located in or outside Bandırma, where there is at least 1 (one) First Class Diver, within the conditions to be determined by the Department Applied Training Commission.
Students who successfully complete the courses in the curriculum and the summer internship can graduate by receiving their diplomas. Graduate students are entitled to receive the First Class Diver Proficiency Certificate, regardless of their age, without the need for internship or examination, provided that they submit their diving log books to the port authorities, showing that they have dived for 50 hours during their education, and meet the other conditions specified in the Professional Underwatermen Regulation.
