Why BANU MPM

A 3+1 education system is implemented in the vocational schools of our university. Thanks to the system applied in the Shipbuilding Programme of the Maritime Vocational School, more than 50% of students who complete their practical training start employment after graduation.

The 3+1 system will also be implemented in the Maritime and Port Management Programme. Meetings have been held with Çelebi Bandırma Port, located in Bandırma, and maritime companies operating in Bandırma. By further developing university–industry cooperation, students will be provided with practical training opportunities.

In addition, the course curricula planned by expert academic staff are updated in line with the needs of the sector. The programme is designed to train personnel who have sufficient knowledge of both maritime operations and supply chain processes.
