On-the-Job Vocational Training (3+1)

Our Vocational School applies a 3+1 On-the-Job Vocational Training model in its Maritime and Port Management and Shipbuilding Programs.

Our students can complete their practical training in public or private sector businesses and non-governmental organizations in Turkey and abroad, as deemed suitable by our Vocational School's Applied Training and Internship Commission. The organization of activities related to their practical training; the principles regarding the initiation, execution, termination, and evaluation of practical training are implemented in accordance with the Higher Education Institutions Applied Training Framework Regulation and the Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University Vocational Schools Coordination Office Applied Training Directive.

Students are obliged to consider the criteria specified in the "Guide to Selecting and Approving Businesses within the Scope of Applied Training" when selecting the business where they will carry out their practical training. The business must meet at least one of the specified criteria. Approval procedures carried out by the advisor faculty member are performed according to these criteria.

All documents and forms related to the practical training are provided below for the use of the advisor, employer, and students.* Documents marked with an asterisk are mandatory. Students who submit incomplete or incorrect information/documents will not be accepted for vocational training at the workplace.
