Dear Students and Prospective Students,
The Maritime Vocational School provides education with an understanding that regards the sea not merely as a field of work, but as a way of life that requires discipline, responsibility, and character. At our school, maritime education means not only knowledge, but also continuous practice; not only a profession, but also a dignified stance; not only a diploma, but also a profound trust and responsibility.
The principle of “A Maritime Nation, Maritime Youth” is not merely a slogan for us; it is a responsibility we have undertaken for the future. Therefore, our aim is not simply to increase the number of graduates, but to train young maritime professionals who are sought after in the sector for their knowledge, skills, discipline, and reliability. Maritime professions do not accept a “good enough” approach; they require an attitude that is open to learning, willing to take responsibility, and committed to the profession with seriousness.
At our school, education is carried out not by chance, but through a planned, systematic, and continuously developing understanding of quality. Our academic and administrative staff adopt an approach that does not merely deliver lectures, but prepares students for the profession, sets an example, and provides guidance. This approach offers strong and reliable companionship on the educational journey of every student who chooses our Maritime Vocational School.
Just like the Bandırma Ferry, whose only burden was hope, “Be the hope.”
